The Secrets to Success Through Style

Success can only happen when you are feeling comfortable in what you are wearing. You will be more productive when wearing what you are comfortable in.  Success in life means something different to everyone.  For me, I do a lot of my work from home and when I dress well for myself and for my daily goals, I am so much more productive.  Can you imagine sitting in the most important job interview in person or over Skype wearing clothing that you never wear?  Not only are you going to be extra fidgety because of you job interview, but you are also fidgeting because you have on clothing that is not allowing you to breathe properly.

I truly believe that every woman needs to find her own personal style and go with it every single day.  If you are not a skirt person, then why would you try to wear skirts at work when you can wear dress pants?  Wear what feels comfortable for you and your lifestyle everyday to feel confident.  

Today I am wearing a jersey striped top paired with one of my favorite pleated cotton skirts and of course converse sneakers.  Heels are still out for me as I recover from a broken foot.  :(

After owning this silk blouse for 10 years, I never get tired of it.  I love to pair it with culottes or crop flare jeans for this Season.  Because my silk camisole has sequins on the top of the chiffon neckline, I chose multi strand gold toned earrings to compliment the blouse color and left it at that.

Classy Pearls

Pearls always win and when you want to keep your style simple, a strand of pearls can take your simple look to a new level of class.  Here I have a chambray skirt on and a printed light-weight tee and black flats.  I am comfortable and that is what matters most.
